Taseko also owns the Harmony gold project, located on the west coast of BC. This project provides a longer-term opportunity for additional development.
The Harmony site covers approximately 177 square kilometers and consists of 58 mineral claims.
Taseko acquired the project from Misty Mountain Gold Ltd in 2001. Misty Mountain and others had carried out extensive exploration and engineering studies on the project prior to that time.
Measured and indicated resources of 64 million tonnes grading 1.35 g/t gold were outlined at a 0.60 g/t cut-off. There are also additional inferred mineral resources.¹
¹Estimated by M. Nowak, P.Eng., in 1997 and classified by Nowak et al in 2001.
Detailed engineering studies are required to fully assess the project's potential. As such, it represents a longer term development opportunity for the Company.
